Get Involved! There are many ways in which you can get involved and contribute to the success of your child’s team and the Jr Mustang program. We are currently accepting volunteer applications for next season – application is attached. Let us know if you are interested in helping out in any of the following areas:
Congratulations to our Jr Pee Wees, Pee Wees AND Jr Midgets who are all advancing to the SYF Championships at Rosemont next weekend! From the Jr Pee Wees shutting out El Camino to the Pee Wees winning with a 2-pt. kick in the last minute of the game to the Jr Midgets dominating the 2nd half of their game it was an exciting day of playoff football yesterday.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To recognize the people who have died from and/or are fighting the terrible disease of cancer, all MTHS & MTJM football players will be wearing a Pink ribbon sticker on the back of their helmets for the rest of the season.
Unfortunately, we all have been touched by this tragic disease in some way. Here at MTHS we are reminded everyday at Mark Macres Memorial Stadium. MTHS & MTJM athletes touch the rock everyday in remembrance of Mr. Macres’ courageous battle with cancer. This is an opportunity for us all to come together to honor those who have fought and are fighting cancer and work towards finding a cure.
Here are some options if you are interested in donating to the fight against cancer & cancer research to find a cure, in no particular order, with some information on each. The first four directly benefit those in the greater Sacramento area.
