Congratulations to the Midgets who completed the season on Saturday with a 3-game winning streak in a win against McClatchy. We have enjoyed watching these players move up through our program – some of the boys played as 6 year olds on the first Jr Pee Wee team in the inaugural season of the Jr Mustangs in 2010. Over the years they have honed their skills through hard work and commitment, welcomed new teammates, encouraged their friends to play and built a solid team. We look forward to seeing them accomplish big things at MTHS over the next four years. Congratulations on a great season!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To recognize the people who have died from and/or are fighting the terrible disease of cancer, all MTHS & MTJM football players will be wearing a Pink ribbon sticker on the back of their helmets for the rest of the season.
Unfortunately, we all have been touched by this tragic disease in some way. Here at MTHS we are reminded everyday at Mark Macres Memorial Stadium. MTHS & MTJM athletes touch the rock everyday in remembrance of Mr. Macres’ courageous battle with cancer. This is an opportunity for us all to come together to honor those who have fought and are fighting cancer and work towards finding a cure.
Here are some options if you are interested in donating to the fight against cancer & cancer research to find a cure, in no particular order, with some information on each. The first four directly benefit those in the greater Sacramento area.
