2018 Registration Information

Early Football Registration (Ages 6 – 14 as of 8/1/18 - high school students are not eligible)

  • $335 ($275 Registration + $60 World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser)
    • ($310 for Jr Pee Wees/8U)
    • ($285 with Coupon Code “Kickoff50” good for a limited time only.  $260 for Jr Pee Wee)

+ $75 Volunteer Deposit and $75 Equipment Deposit due 7/23/18 (Cash or Check)

Early Bird Registration Includes:

  • FREE Conditioning Camp July 23rd - 27th ($25 Value)
  • 30 World's Finest Chocolate candy bars (see Fundraising page for details)
  • Football players will keep one jersey w/name on the back

**Registration includes a $75 non-refundable administrative fee

Payment Options for Football Registration:

Option 1:

  •  $335 Pay in Full at Time of Registration ($310 for Jr Pee Wees/8U)

+$75 Volunteer Deposit and $75 Equipment Deposit due 7/23/18 (Cash or Check)

Option 2 (4 payments – 1 upfront & 3 monthly auto-payments):

  • Pmt 1 - $150  (minus a portion of any applicable discounts) due at time of registration
  • Remaining balance will be deducted from your bank/credit card account in 3 equal payments:
    • Pmt 2 -  Due 4/5/18 (after 4/5 this pmt will be charged at time of registration)
    • Pmt 3 -  Due 5/5/18
    • Pmt 4 -  Due 6/5/18

*Monthly payment amounts vary based on final registration price, discounts, multiple children, etc.

Cheer Registration (Ages 5 – 12 as of 8/1/18)

Referral Program  

Returning players can earn a $50 referral refund for each new committed player referral this season. Get the word out to your friends. Maximum of 2 referral refunds per family.  Here’s how it works:

  1. Tell your friends about the Jr Mustangs and refer them to complete the online registration.  Be sure to instruct them to list your name in the “Referred By” field during their online registration.  A referral refund will be issued to the person listed in the referral field. A referral refund will not be issued if no name is listed in the referral field during registration.
  2. Referral refund will be issued after the referred new player (and referring player) is paid in full and has successfully completed tryouts and SYF certification (mid-August)

Registration Info, Refunds & Cuts

Sibling Discount

If you are registering more than one player in your family this season, you will receive a $25.00 discount on the second (and third, fourth, etc. if applicable) child's registration fee.  In order for the registration system to recognize that your family is registering multiple players, please register all of your players at this time.  On the Review Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register Another Player" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your family's players are registered within the same order.

***Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of your family's discounted rates.***

 

Registration Information, Refund and Cuts

The registration fee includes a $75 non-refundable administrative fee.  Each football player making a team will be issued a uniform and all equipment (except cleats). Players completing the full season will keep one jersey with their name on the back. Cheerleaders will purchase their uniform separately - the cost is not included in registration.

  • All registrants 11 and under must provide an original or certified copy of their birth certificate or school enrollment form unless they played with Monterey Trail Jr Mustangs in the 2017 season - see Certification Packet for details.
  • All participants 12 and up must supply a school enrollment form including name, address and date of birth on school letterhead or computer printout for 2018-19.
  • Medical clearance to participate (dated after May 1, 2018)
  • Football registrants must be between the ages of 6 and 8th grade as of 8/1/2018. Cheer registrants must be between the ages of 5 and 12 as of 8/1/2018.
  • Players are placed on teams based on age. 
  • Please be prepared to create a Sports Engine account for registration.
  • Have your child's doctor & phone number, medical policy #, emergency contact information, school phone #, etc. handy.
  • If you need to pay offline (cash or check) please email mtjrmustangs@gmail.com for a password before beginning the registration process.

Once a player has been placed on a team, refunds will not be issued.  It is imperative that your child attend each practice during the first two-week conditioning and tryout period. 

TRYOUTS, CUTS & QUIT
Before 1st Camp = $75 non-refundable
After Camps = $100 non-refundable
During 1st week = $125 non-refundable 
During 2nd week = $150 non-refundable 
After League Certification = no refund

   
*Youth sports organizations must conduct fundraising activities in order to successfully equip, maintain and fund their organization. Each player will agree to fully participate in all fundraising activities and meet/exceed the minimum obligation as set forth by the Monterey Trail Jr Mustangs Board of Directors.
